Frank Sinatra - The King of Swing

Francis Albert Sinatra is one of the best selling music artists of all time. His career as a singer, actor and producer spanned the 1940s, 50s and 60s. Renowned as the ‘King of Swing’, his big band numbers defined an era of old fashioned romance and glamour. Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr were the main trio known as ‘The Rat Pack’, with other peripheral members and an entire roster of Hollywood visiting artists. They were the hottest stars, appearing together in films and on stage - when in Las Vegas people flocked to see their sell out shows. The buzz surrounding Sinatra and his friends was unrivalled and his legacy lives on today.
